The objective of the CACFP Sponsor and
Provider Characteristics Study is to provide FNS, the Congress,
advocates, and others interested in the CACFP with information that
accurately describes the Program's current child care sponsors and
providers.
This is a non-substantive
request for the currently approved study which has 3,954 burden
hours and 4,324 responses. FNS has determined that additional data
elements need to be collected from the State agencies, sponsors,
and providers in order to respond to research questions posed by
this study. To capture these data elements, FNS is proposing to add
four new web surveys, and their associated e-mails, into this
collection. FNS estimates that these proposed additions will add
232 burden hours and 1,372 responses to this collection as a
program change. Upon approval, this collection will have a total of
4,186 burden hours and 5,696 responses.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
