As part of a comprehensive program,
the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, surveys its customers' satisfaction
with the quality and relevance of the information it produces. NCHS
conducts voluntary customer surveys and focus groups to assess
strengths in agency products and services. Results of these surveys
will be used in future planning initiatives.

In anticipation of increased
conference attendance, the number of focus group participants, NCHS
website users, and other customer surveys, the total burden for the
Customer Surveys Generic Clearance will now equal 4,000 hours
compared to the 2,440 hours currently approved.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
