to this information collection, as are applicants seeking mechanic,
repairman, and parachute riggers certificates and/or ratings. The
FAA uses the information collected to determine applicant
eligibility for certification.

Government cost has been
updated to correct an oversight in the previous submission. The
figure in the previous submission did not take into account that
Inspection Authorization: Renewal takes place every other year.
Each form is identified as a separate IC in this submission. The
burden hours are the same. However the number of responses was
incorrectly reported in the previous submission due to combining
the forms as one IC. Thus there is an increase in the number of
responses in this submission.
