Accessibility survey for state arts agencies and regional arts organizations
The National Endowment for the Arts Office of Accessibility is interested in learning how we can better
help State Arts Agencies (SAAs) and Regional Arts Organizations (RAOs) serve people with disabilities.
We want to get a better sense of what’s happening across the country, the great work you are all doing,
and how we can assist with technical assistance and training for your staff. In addition, since 2013 the
Arts Endowment has partnered with the RAOs to support state and regional staff participation in
professional development opportunities at the annual Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD)
conference and accessibility peer session, and the peer session associated with the semi-annual National
Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) Assembly. We are interested in outcomes from these
professional development opportunities.
Your participation is voluntary. You will not receive any compensation for responding to the survey. You
may decline to answer any questions you wish. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, no persons
are required to respond to a collection of information unless such collection displays a valid Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) control number. The OMB control number for this survey is OMB No.
3135-0130.
The time required to provide responses to the survey questions is estimated to be approximately 20
