Dear America Recycles Network Members, 

 

EPA is currently planning the 2020 America Recycles November events and is evaluating options for the events, including in-person as well as virtual platforms. In-person events would follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and any local jurisdictional requirements. As a valued partner and America Recycles pledge signer, we would like your feedback.  We appreciate you taking 3-5 minutes of your time to help us shape our 2020 events by responding to this survey [link to survey]. 

 

For the past two years, EPA has hosted the America Recycles Summit to convene organizations from across the value chain to collectively enhance our recycling system. This year, the Summit will focus on celebrating accomplishments in 2020 and on actions that can be taken to implement the national recycling strategy and national recycling goals, both of which will be announced in late 2020. It also will feature a roundtable dialogue on federal agencies’ role in improving the recycling system.  

 

In 2019, EPA hosted the first-ever America Recycles: Innovation Fair to give innovators a forum to share their technologies, products, and communication strategies that are advancing recycling. Exhibiting will be free again this year, and EPA anticipates announcing the call for exhibitors in early August 2020. EPA is currently considering hosting the Innovation Fair virtually, and your feedback is appreciated.
