Abstract: This group of surveys provide indications needed to estimate yield per acre for five major field crops (corn, soybeans, cotton, potatoes, and wheat) and several state specific fruits and nuts. The indications are based on objective measurements and correlated to final yield. Estimates are used in farm policy decisions.
