2. Transportation Preference to NIST

Please make your selection no later than Sunday, May 6th.
All training participants, with the exception of those from American Samoa, Illinois,
Missouri, Minnesota, New Mexico, and Washington State, are permitted to drive a
privately owned vehicle onto the NIST campus. Those from the states or territories mentioned
must board the bus each day at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites hotel to gain
access to the NIST campus. If you are not staying at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood
Suites hotel and driving directly to the NIST campus, you must stop at the NIST Visitor’s center
to receive your training badge. All others will receive their training badge at the Hilton Garden
Inn or Homewood Suites hotel. Should you have any questions, please contact our office at
[email protected] or at 877-237-9064 and select option 1.

* 1. Please let us know if you are driving to the NIST campus, so we can
give your training badge at the NIST Visitor center.
I will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites hotel and will be boarding
the bus at the hotel each day of training.
I will not be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites hotel and will be
boarding the bus at the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites hotel each day of training.
I will be driving to the NIST campus to receive my training badge at the NIST Visitor
Center.
I will be using the Washington DC Metro Rail system to attend the training.

3. Transportation Preference from NIST to Airports

On Thursday after the training session, the Baldrige Program will provide complimentary
shuttle transportation to the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites hote1, as well as to the
Metro train. In order to reserve the appropriate number of shuttles, we need to know whether
or not you need a shuttle. Also, we would like to know if you require any special
accommodations. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to
