demonstrates that it has developed a method of tracking its
collections and preventing them from falling out of PRA
compliance.

The information from this collection
helps the Coast Guard to determine a vessel's tonnage. Tonnage in
turn helps to determine licensing, inspection, safety requirements,
and operating fees. Respondents are owners of vessels.
US Code:
46
USC 14104 Name of Law: Measurement to Determine Application of
a Law
The change (i.e., increase) in
burden is an ADJUSTMENT due to an increase in the estimated annual
number of responses for vessels being documented, and inclusion of
an estimate for undocumented vessels. The Coast Guard does not
collect the information needed to explain this trend. There is no
proposed change to the reporting requirements of this collection.
The reporting requirements, and the methodology for calculating
burden, remain unchanged.
