The data collected on the BE-11 survey provide a variety of measures of the operations of U.S. parents and their foreign affiliates. The data are needed to measure the size and economic significance of U.S. direct investment abroad, measure changes in such investment, and assess its impact on the U.S. and foreign economies.
This request is for an extension without substantive change of a currently approved collection. The increase in the estimated respondent burden hours is due entirely to an increased number of respondents based on recent BE-10 and BE-11 surveys.
