Summary:
This conceptual wireframe of the NIJ.gov Grant-Sponsored Research Web Submittal Form provides a
sketch of a web-based tool that NIJ grantees can use to submit documents pertaining to their NIJ-funded
research (conference papers, presentations, reports, journal article citations, etc.) after their grant
period of performance has expired.
The Grant-Sponsored Research Web Submittal Form would reside on the NIJ.gov web site, location TBD.
The research works submitted via this portal would be added to the NCJRS Virtual Library for archiving,
public notification, and public access as applicable. Notification of receipt and inclusion in the NCJRS
Abstracts Database, to include verification of receipt, assigned NCJ Number, Abstract Database Record
and/or full-text URL, and notification of public availability, would be provided to the NIJ Grant/Program
Manager of record for citation and recordation in GMS.
The Grant-Sponsored Research Web Submittal Form would be divided into five sections:

A section that provides Grantee/Grant information
A section that would provide for the inclusion of a document citation
A section to provide a full-text and/or abstract URL, and a mechanism to attach a full-text
document
5. A mechanism to submit the form to the NCJRS Virtual Library
