This information collection
facilitates the addition of needed work classifications and wage
rates for employers engaged on HUD-assisted construction
projects.
The collection is a
reinstatement with small changes to 4230A. These changes are an
effort to streamline the process for both HUD and LCAs, and to
reduce the number of appeals on wage decisions. The changes are
adding a signature line for the Prime Contractor with date and
agree/disagree box. And LCAs will send the form directly to DOL and
by-pass HUD. On Forms 4750-4752, no changes were made. HUD has also
determined it will take less hours to use and fill-out two of these
forms. HUD 4750 is reduced to two hours and 4752 to four hours. The
name of the office changed, and all forms reflect this change to
Davis-Bacon & Labor Standards.
