SAMHSA will be conducting cognitive
testing on the use of electronic health records (EHRs) by substance
abuse and mental health treatment facilities in the United States.
The final goal of this cognitive testing is to incorporate
questions on electronic health records to SAMHSA’s National Survey
of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS) and the National
Mental Health Services Survey (N-MHSS).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
