The agency has
made many changes to the Customs declaration process, including APC
and MPC. When the agency next submits this ICR, it will include a
discussion of all ways in which persons submit this information, a
discussion of when and where each submission method is accepted by
the agency, and the associated burden with each method of
submission, to include third party burdens on CBP-approved
apps.

The Customs Declaration, CBP Form
6059-B, facilitates the clearance of persons and their goods
arriving in the U.S. by requiring basic information necessary for
CBP to determine enforcement of all applicable laws and
regulations. CBP is testing automated versions of the Customs
Declaration, including Mobile Passport Control (MPC) and Automated
Passport Control (APC) to be used instead of the paper
form.
