Abstract: The agencies are proposing the majority of the reporting revisions to implement the new CECL accounting standard and the agencies’ final rule providing regulatory capital relief to institutions that adopt the new CECL accounting standard. The agencies are proposing additional revisions to implement Section 202 and 214 of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act.
