The information furnished on this form
refers to events that may have occurred since the applicant's
initial interview and prior to the administration of the oath of
allegiance. Several months may elapse between these dates and the
information that is provided assists the officer to make and render
an appropriate decision on the application.
USCIS is reporting an
adjustment to the estimated annual time burden for this collection
of information, as a result of an increase in the estimated number
of respondents, as well as an adjustment to the estimated hour
burden. The estimated hour burden per response has been increased
to 0.25 hours, based upon a better estimation of the activity
required to gather all documentation, read the instructions, and
fill out the form (this accounts for the additional page on the
information collection). Changes were made to the form and

additional information.
