The current total hour burden set forth in the ICR for both paid and denied claims is 618,084 hours with a total of 228,745 responses. The activities for the BAM remains unchanged and reflects the continued emphasis on gathering, verifying and reporting payment accuracy information as mandated by law and regulation. The revised burden from the previous submission reflects a simpler methodology used for computation and also corrects errors identified in the computation of burden. The required number of work search verifications with employers have increased resulting in an increase burden.
