Instructions: Beginning October 1, 2021, individuals relying on State-issued driver’s license or identification cards to verify their identity at the TSA checkpoint must present REAL ID-compliant cards, pursuant to the REAL ID Act and DHS regulation. As we work to improve awareness of this upcoming change, TSA would like to know about your knowledge of REAL ID. Your feedback will be used to help improve TSA’s communications about REAL ID and the upcoming October 1, 2021 deadline. Please do not include any personally identifiable information in your responses. Your participation is VOLUNTARY and will remain ANONYMOUS. No information you provide can be linked back to you.

Before today, I was aware that beginning October 1, 2021, TSA will only accept REAL ID-compliant driver’s licenses and State-issued identification cards (or other another TSA- accepted forms of identification) at the TSA checkpoint.
