IMLS requests delegation of authority
to review and approve all agency information collection requests
(excluding surveys, evaluations, and data calls used for
policy-making purposes, under the Paperwork Reduction Act. The
information collections in this package include all of the
guidelines and instructions to (1) apply for IMLS support, (2)
identify grant reviewers, and (3) complete post-award reports for
the Native American Basic grant programs.
This Information Collection
Request previously contained two Notice of Funding
Opportunities--Native American Basic and Native American
Enhancement Grant Programs. In FY18, IMLS requested that the Native
American Enhancement Grant Program be given its own approval number
since the requirements and application timeline was different. This
request was approved by OMB as 3137-0110 and the burden for this
program was removed from 3137-0098.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
