Addendum to Original Submission
Submitted Under Generic Clearance for Census Bureau Field Tests and Evaluations
Addendum: This memo is an addendum to research previously approved under the generic clearance for Census Bureau Field Tests and Evaluations (OMB #0607-0971). This approved package was titled “2020 Privacy and Confidentiality Evaluation of Web Response.” There was one addendum, “Addendum to 2020 Privacy and Confidentiality OMB Package,” approved on October 5, 2020.
Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, in-field interviewers are planning to contact potential respondents by phone in areas deemed unsafe. Response rates have also been less than what we expected possibly due to the pandemic. We plan to send respondents an additional postcard to increase response and to notify potential participants that the first contact might be a phone call. The postcard is included here as Enclosure 1.
