Form WD-10 is used by the U.S.
Department of Labor to solicit construction project data from
contractor associations, contractors and unions. The wage data is
used to determine locally prevailing wages under the Davis-Bacon
and Related Acts.
The WHD reduced the annual
burden hours for this request from 12,000 to 7,009. This reduction
in burden hours is partially due to a decrease in the number of
respondents (24,000 to 2,731) attributable the elimination of
duplicative counting, and to a corresponding increase in the number
of responses per respondent (1.5 to 7.7). Additionally, the
reduction in respondents and burden hours might be due to the WHD
conducting surveys in 2016 covering different construction types
and demographics yielding a greater number of respondents and
burden hours than the amounts produced by the types of surveys
conducted in 2019.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
