General information on public charters in air transportation originating in the U.S. includes a flight schedule and certification that the charter operator contracted with a direct air carrier and has made financial security arrangements to protect the passengers payment. This collection supports DOT’s Strategic Goal of Accountability: Serve the Nation with Reduced Regulatory Burden and Greater Efficiency, Effectiveness and Accountability where DOT will raise accountability standards that improve the efficient use of taxpayer funds by streamlining business processes.
