Abstract: Regulation Y - Bank Holding Companies and Change in Bank Control (12 CFR Part 225) requires large bank holding companies and U.S. intermediate holding companies (jointly referred to as BHCs) to submit capital plans to the Board on an annual basis and requires such BHCs to request prior approval from the Board under certain circumstances before making a capital distribution. Although there are additional data reporting requirements, there are no required reporting forms associated with this information collection.

The Board estimates that the revisions to the FR Y-13 would decrease the estimated annual burden by 2,028 hours. The Board estimates that the hours per response for the new reporting requirement is 2 hours.
