Information is used to determine
applicant's eligibility for a direct loan; ensure cash flow
projections are based on actual production history; ensure that
loan is adequately secured; and obtain assignments on income or
sales proceeds to ensure timely repayment of the loan.
The total of burden hours
decreased by -125,832 hours since the last OMB approval. The
program changes of -80,110 hours and -21 responses were decreased
due to a removal of travel times and minor calculations to the
numbers. The annual number of responses decreased slightly by -22,
and the number of respondents increased by +2,610 in the collection
due to more respondents (borrowers) participating in the Direct
Loan Making Program. This was an adjustment by -45,722 hours.
