The information on Form I-485 will be
used to request and determine eligibility for adjustment of
permanent residence status. Supplement A is used to adjust status
under section 245(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act
(Act).
There an increase in the annual
time burden that resulted from the proposed changes in the
Biometrics NPRM, specifically by increasing the Biometric
Processing time burden from 1.17 to 3.67 hours. There is no change
in the annual cost burden.
