Executive Orders 12862 and 13571
direct Federal agencies to provide service to the public that
matches or exceeds the best service available in the private
sector. In order to work continuously to ensure that our programs
are effective and meet our customers’ needs, the Access Board is
seeking to renew its existing generic clearance to collect
qualitative feedback on the delivery of agency services and
programs. Areas to be targeted for collection of qualitative
customer feedback include: the timeliness and efficiency of agency
services; satisfaction with agency programs or delivery of
services; and resolution of service-related complaints or problems.
Only customer feedback or other qualitative information will be
collected. The information collections under this generic clearance
will not involve statistical surveys or methods and are not
intended to yield generalizable results across a study
population.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
If you are unable to certify compliance with any of
these provisions, identify the item by leaving the box unchecked
and explain the reason in the Supporting Statement.
