The 2017 WHIP establishes the
requirements for eligible producers who suffered eligible crop,
tree, bush, and vine losses resulting from 2017 hurricanes and
wildfires as specified in Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018. The
information collection is necessary for FSA to evaluate the
application and other required paperwork for determining the
producer’s eligibilities and assist in producer’s payment
calculations. The QLA program is also providing assistance to the
producers as specified in the Disaster Relief Act.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
