EBT cards are made to last for years. You can use the same EBT card for as long as you receive
benefits. You are, of course, entitled to receive replacement cards if yours is lost or stolen.
However, if the number of cards you order continues to show the same pattern of unusually high
replacement requests, we may refer your case to the Fraud Investigation Unit to conduct an investigation
to ensure that your EBT card is not being misused.
