This clearance covers the information
that contractors must submit to comply with the following FAR
requirements: ● 52.224-3(d). This clause requires contractors to:
(a) Maintain a record of initial and annual privacy training, for
the contractor’s employees that: (i) have access to a system of
records; (ii) create, collect, use, process, store, maintain,
disseminate, disclose, dispose, or otherwise handle personally
identifiable information on behalf of an agency; or (iii) design,
develop, maintain, or operate a system of records; and (b) Provide
documentation of completion of such privacy training to the
contracting officer if requested.
There are no program changes.
The FAR requirements remain the same. This extension includes
adjustments to the public and Government burden estimates based on
the following: ● The estimated number of respondents and responses
per year is based on the historical average of FPDS data for the
three most recent fiscal years (2020 through 2022). ● The estimated
cost per hour is based on use of the calendar year 2023 OPM GS wage
rate for the rest of the United States.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
