We are requesting updates to this Information Collection Request (ICR) to align it to other collections and improve the overall quality of the collection. The proposed instruction clarifications will
improve the alignment between the values and definitions in this information collection and other reporting that States are required to do for the Department. The proposed edits to the Migrant
Student Information Exchange (MSIX) Minimum Data Element (MDE) list are on pages 2, 7, 13, and 14. The change to the burden due to these changes will be minimal.
