Abstract: The Coast Guard established an optional Streamlined Inspection Program (SIP) to provide owners and operators of U.S. vessels an alternative method of complying with inspection requirements of the Coast Guard. Respondents are owners and operators of vessels. The statutory authority for this collection is 46 U.S.C. 3301 and 3306.
