TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: NASA International Space Apps Challenge Winners Trip / Celebration Survey

PURPOSE: A major motivation for the 30K+ participants of Space Apps is being selected as one of ten winning teams who will receive an invitation to the Winners trip, which includes viewing a spacecraft launch at a NASA facility. The purpose of this survey is to gather satisfaction data of both the Winners Trip (in person trip) and Winners Celebration (virtual celebration) to continue to understand and improve the experience of Space Apps winners.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS: Respondents will be the winners of the Space Apps challenge. Winners are individuals who are on one of ten teams who have gone through multiple stages of judging and deemed the recipients of a Space Apps global award. All individuals that are Space Apps winners will receive the survey.

FEDERAL COST: $1,200. This is calculated using 8 hours (approximate amount of time it has taken staff to develop the survey and the amount of time forecasted to analyze results afterwards) x $150/hour (avg hourly cost of staff time).
