The TSA infoBoards are a data
management system that integrate security-related information and
communications at the sensitive security information (SSI) level.
The availability of infoBoards provides an information sharing
forum supporting coordination and collaboration with TSA and TSA’s
stakeholders—including industry, Federal agencies, and State and
Local governments—and are located in a secure online environment,
the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN). Through this
system, TSA disseminates mission-critical information to users
inside and outside of the TSA organization with a need to
know.
There are no changes to the
information being collected. However, TSA added an additional 1
hour for training associated with SSI, increasing the annual burden
from 5,000 to 10,000 annual hours. In addition, the cost to the
Federal government has increased from $136,890 to $146,280 due to
the increase in compensation rate, moving from $79.23 to
$102.70.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding
the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
(i) Why the information is being collected;
(ii) Use of information;
(iii) Burden estimate;
(iv) Nature of response (voluntary, required for a
benefit, or mandatory);
(v) Nature and extent of confidentiality; and
(vi) Need to display currently valid OMB control
number;
If you are unable to certify compliance with any of
these provisions, identify the item by leaving the box unchecked
and explain the reason in the Supporting Statement.
