Abstract: The purpose of this information collection is to ensure that employers maintain records of exposure and properly notify their workers so that they are properly protected from the adverse effects associated with the occupational exposure to the following carcinogens: 4-Nitrobiphenyl, alpha-Naphthylamine, methyl chloromethyl ether, 3,3-Dichlorobenzidine (and its salts), bis-chloromethyl ether, beta-Naphthylamine, Benzidine, 4-Aminodiphenyl, Ethyleneimine, beta-Propiolactone, 2-Acetylaminofluorene, 4-Dimethylaminoazo-benzene, and N-Nitrosodimethylamine.

Short Statement: OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase of 131 hours (from 1,609 hours to 1,740 hours). The increase is a result of a slight increase in the number of establishments affected by the Standard from 104 to 113 establishments. The agency is also requesting an adjustment cost increase of $34,716 from $307,164 to $341,880.
