The National Agricultural Statistics
Service (NASS) is requesting a substantive change to the National
Resources Inventory Conservation Effects Assessment Project (NRI
CEAP) survey. NASS requests to use the minimum category version
that includes examples for each of the seven main race/ethnicity
categories, for the CEAP Survey. Using the minimum categories with
examples would allow NASS to keep the questionnaire at 44 pages and
reduce burden to the public compared to using the standard version.
Disclosure and data quality concerns would prevent most summarized
data from the full race/ethnicity version from
publication.
