Abstract: Rule 17Ad-27 under the Exchange Act, 17 CFR 240.17Ad-27, requires a clearing agency that is a central matching service provider to establish policies and procedures reasonably designed to facilitate straight-through processing and to file an annual report regarding progress with respect to straight-through processing. The purpose of the information collection is to ensure that central matching service providers facilitate the ongoing development of operational and technological improvements associated with the straight-through processing of institutional trades.
