Request for Approval under the “Administration for Children and Families Generic for Information Collections Related to Gatherings”

TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION:  Fiscal Responsibility Act Outcomes Working Group Interest Form

PURPOSE:  The information collected will be used to sign up individuals for the Fiscal Responsibility Act (FRA) Outcomes Working Groups, which are small virtual groups that will meet several times in 2026 to explore FRA-related topics. Individuals who want to sign up for the working groups will be asked to provide contact information, identify the types of working groups they are interested in, describe the stage they are in regarding their data collection process, and share any ideas for discussion items. Participation is voluntary, and providing the requested information is optional. 

This proposed collection aligns with the purpose and use of information collections under the Generic for Information Collections Related to Gatherings, which specifies the following example information collection activities (See Supporting Statement A of the umbrella generic for additional information): 
    • Registration forms 
    • Information collected on these types of forms could include name, contact information, organization/affiliation, basic demographics, attendance needs, etc.   
    • Pre-meeting surveys 
    • Information collected on these types of surveys could include content preferences, scheduling needs and preferences, pre-meeting knowledge, etc. 

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONDENTS: Any TANF agency staff involved in meeting the FRA reporting requirements who are interested in collaborating with other states on the FRA reporting requirements.

CERTIFICATION:
I certify the following to be true: 
    1. The collection is voluntary. 
    2. The collection is low-burden for respondents and low-cost for the Federal Government.
    3. The collection is non-controversial and does not raise issues of concern to other federal agencies.
    4. The information collected is not intended to be disseminated to the public1.		
    5. Information gathered will not be used for the purpose of substantially informing influential policy decisions.
