The Commission's Mandatory Disaster Response Initiative (MDRI) requires the nation's facilities-based mobile wireless providers to take action to improve the reliability and resiliency of mobile wireless networks. The Commission seeks approval of this information collection as necessary for the MDRI to remain effective.
The Commission is reporting adjustments to this existing information collection. The total number of responses has increased from 1,725 to 1,793 (+68). The number of burden hours has increased from 4,575 hours to 5,119 hours (+544). These changes are the result of adjustments that arise from (1) the method of estimating total responses and burdens being modified to newly capture one-time responses and burdens, and (2) seven providers having completed their one-time reporting burdens since the last estimate.
There are no program changes.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
