CMS Oral Health Survey Testing Plan
What are the goals of quantitative surveys?
Online quantitative surveys collect data about user reactions and experiences with a product. Because online surveys are generally quick and asynchronous to complete, this option is ideal for projects that need a large participant sample size.
Why should CMS use surveys in the oral health project?
A handful of 1-on-1 interviews are excellent for detailed, personal feedback. However, we will need to collect a relevant sample of about 100 respondents to create greater diversity and scale in responses. The oral health stakeholder testing sessions are lacking representation from patients and non-clinical individuals. To make an informed decision for concept selection, it is critical that the team gathers as much feedback as possible from a variety of individuals.
Methods
100 participants, two de-identified illustrations
Each participant will select one (of the two) concept they feel is most fitting for each question:
• Which concept best highlights the most important aspects of oral health care?
• Which concept resonates with your personal background/experience the best?
• Which concept do you think would be the best conversation starter?
• Which concept do you like the most overall?
