The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) requests clearance to conduct the 2019 Supplemental Victimization Survey (SVS) to the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS). The SVS is primarily an effort to measure the prevalence of stalking victimization among persons, the characteristics of stalking victims, and patterns of reporting to the police and other authorities. The SVS was also designed to collect important characteristics of stalking such as the physical and emotional impact on victims, offender information, measures of self-protective actions, and the criminal justice system response.
The latest form for Supplemental Victimization Survey (SVS) expires 2022-06-30 and can be found here.
