Abstract: OCEAN CARRIERS BELONGING TO RATE-FILING BODIES OR "CONFERENCES" MUST FILE SEMI-ANNUAL SELF-POLICING REPORTS BASED ON ACTIVITIES OF INDEPENDENT SELF-POLICING AUTHORITIES RETAINED BY THE CONFERENCES. SELT-POLICING AUTHORITIES MUST COMPILE AND RETAIN RECORDS FOR FIVE YEARS. THE COMMISSION USES THE INFORMATION TO DETERMINE ADEQUENCY OF SELT-POLICING SYSTEMS OF CONFERENCES.
