Terms of Clearance: THE ORIGINAL CLEARANCE FOR 2060-0010, FOR 208 HOURS TO EXPIRE OCTOBER 31, 1985, IS REAFFIRMED. THE REQUESTED EXTENSION OF THIS SURVEY TO 4,500 RESPONSES IS NOT GRANTED. ALTHOUGH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY EPA AS JUSTIFICATION FOR THIS PACKAGE IS HELPFUL, THE PACKAGE REMAINS INCOMPLETE. SPECIFICALLY, EPA HAS NOT EXPLAINED WHY IT NEEDS TO EXTEND THE SCOPE OF THIS SURVEY TO 4,500 VEHICLES AT 15 SITES, NOR HAS IT DESCRIBED IN DETAIL THE SURVEY DESIGN SO THAT OMB MAY MAKE A REASONABLE JUDGEMENT ON ITS USEFULNESS.
