Abstract: FAA ACT OF 1958, SECTION 602 (49 USC 1422) AUTHORIZES THE ISSUANCE OF AIRMEN CERTIFICATES. 14 CFR 65 PRESCRIBES REQUIREMENTS FOR MECHANICS, REPAIRMEN, PARACHUTE RIGGERS, AND INSPECTION AUTHORIZATIONS.
