Abstract: THE INFORMATION REQUESTED IS ESSENTIAL TO CARRYING OUT THE OFFICE'S CHARGE OF MAINTAINING THE SAFETY AND SOUNDNESS OF THE NATIONAL BANKING SYSTEM. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC ARE NATIONAL BANKS HAVING A CONCENTRATION OF THEIR LOAN PORTFOLIOS TO BORROWERS ENGAGED IN THE ENERGY BUSINESS. INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR SUPERVISING, SETTING POLICY REGARDING CREDIT RISK, AND IN TARGETING EXAMS FOR THOSE BANKS HAVING A SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURE TO THE ENERGY INDUSTRY.
