Abstract: STATE AGENCIES ADMINISTERING THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN (WIC) USE THE FNS-498 TO REPORT TO THE FOO AND NUTRITION SERVICE THE FINANCIAL AND PROGRAM DATA REQUIRED BY SECTI 17 OF THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT OF 1966 AS AMENDED BY P.L. 95-627. THE THE FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICE USES THIS INFORMATION TO MEASURE PROGRA RESULTS, MANAGE PROGRAM FUNDS, AND EVALUATE STATE AGENCIES' PERFORMANC UNDER THEIR GRANTS.
