AMENDED, HUD IS EMPOWERED TO MAK LOANS TO PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCIES
(PHA'S) TO ASSIST IN FINANCING THEIR PROEJCT NOTES. THESE ADVANCE
LOANS MAY BE OBTAINED BY THE PHA SUBMITTING TO HUD AN APPROVED
REQUISITION FOR FUNDS (HUD-5402) TO FINANCE DEVELOPMENT AND
MODERNIZATION CONSTRUCTION.
