Abstract: THE ICR REQUESTS A SIX MONTH EXTENSION FOR THE ACCIDENTAL RELEASE INFORMATION PROGRAM. FACILITIES RECEIVE A QUESTIONNAIRE IF THEY HAVE A RELEASE OF A CERCLA CHEMICAL ABOVE THE RQ THAT MEETS ONE OF 4 CRITERIA. EPA USES THE DATA TO DEVEL PREVENTION POLICY AND TO DETERMINE WHETHER REGULATION IS NECESSARY. FIVE HUNDRED TOTAL QUESTIONNAIRES ARE PLANNED.
