Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THESE REGULATIONS IS TO STREAMLINE THE CFTC'S REGISTRATION PROCEDURE BY NARROWING THE CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRING A NEW REGISTRATION, ELIMINATING THE BIANNUAL RENEWAL OF REGISTRATIONS, ELIMINATING THE USE OF CERTAIN FORMS, AUTHORIZING NFA TO PROCESS WITHDRAWALS AND IMPLEMENTING A TEMPORARY LICENSING PROCEDURE FOR PERSONS CHANGING SPONSORS.
