In accordance
with 5 CFR 1320, this information collection is approved until
September 1989 with the following conditions: - FNS will provide
computerized information on food stamp coupon allotments to FSA to
facilitate tracking the effects of AFDC benefit changes under the
new welfare reform law on Food Stamps. - FNS will revise the review
schedule codes in accordance with an attachment provided under
separate cover, and will revise instructions provided to States. -
These changes shall be incorporated not later than February l, 1989
for use with the January 1989 sample. - Before resubmitting this
clearance package, FNS should examine the data collections required
by the new welfare reform law and the Hunger Prevention Act to
determine the appropriate amount of information to be collected by
the QC system.
