Abstract: FOR MORE EFFECTIVE REGULATION OF HAZARDOUS WASTES UNDER RCRA, EPA PROPOSES TO COLLECT INFORMATION ON INDUSTRIAL RESIDUALS, THEIR QUANTITIES, CHARACTERISTICS, AND MANAGEMENT. DATA WILL BE GATHERED PRIMARILY THROUGH INDUSTRY QUESTIONNAIRES AND SUPPLEMENTED WITH A SELECTED NUMBER OF SITE VISITS.
