OPERATORS VOLUNTARILY SUBMITTING NOISE EXPOSURE MAPS AND NOISE
COMPATIBILITY PROGRAMS TO THE FAA FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. FAA
APPROVAL MAKES THESE PROGRAMS' NOISE COMPATIBILITY PROJECTS
ELIGIBLE FOR A 10 PERCENT SET-ASIDE OF DISCRETIONARY GRANT FUNDS
UNDER THE FAA AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
